50 Years As Arkansas's Commercial Electrical Contractor Company

Our Electrical Business Started With One Man and a Commitment to Excellence
In 1977, Lorin Fleming saw something missing in Arkansas's electrical contracting industry. Too many contractors treated electrical work like a commodity—get in, get done, move on. But Lorin understood something different: when your electrical systems fail, everything stops. Your production lines. Your operations. Your revenue. Your reputation.
So he built FCPS on a simple premise: do it right the first time, build relationships that last decades, and never treat any project like it's just another job. Nearly 50 years later, that philosophy hasn't changed—even as we've grown from a one-man operation to a full team of factory-trained, certified technicians.
We're still independently owned. Still based right here in Bryant, Arkansas. Still treating every client's downtime like it's our own business on the line. Because in this industry, the contractors who survive aren't the ones who chase the next job—they're the ones customers call back year after year because they know the work will be done right.
What Makes FCPS Different
From Other Commercial Electrical Companies
Factory-Certified
Expertise

Every technician on our team is factory-trained and certified. Not just because certifications look good on a website—because when you're working with medium voltage systems or programming industrial controls, "close enough" can mean disaster. We invest in training so your systems work the way the manufacturers intended.
We Actually
Answer the Phone

Here's a radical concept: when your production line goes down at 2 AM, you shouldn't get sent to voicemail. We're independently owned, which means we make our own rules about customer service. And our rule is simple—if you need us, we're there. No excuses, no waiting until Monday morning.
Relationships
Over Transactions

Some of our clients have been with us for 20+ years. That doesn't happen by accident. We remember your systems, understand your operations, and know exactly what you need before you have to explain it. We're not chasing the next contract—we're building partnerships that last.

How We Approach Every Project
You've probably heard an electrical contractor company promise three things: quality work, on-time completion, and reasonable pricing. Then reality hits—missed deadlines, change orders, and systems that don't quite work right. Here's how we've kept our promises for nearly 50 years:
We Plan Before We Act
The contractors who scramble mid-project are the ones who didn't invest enough time upfront. We walk your facility, understand your operations, identify potential issues, and develop a comprehensive plan before we ever pick up a tool. Surprises happen—but they shouldn't happen because we didn't do our homework.
We Communicate Like Adults
You shouldn't need to chase us down for updates or wonder what's happening with your project. We tell you what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what to expect next. When problems arise, you hear about them immediately—not after they've cascaded into bigger issues.
We Build For Longevity
Some contractors optimize for the lowest bid. We optimize for systems that still work flawlessly 10 years from now. That means using quality components, proper installation techniques, and documentation that actually makes sense when you need it.
